Description:
Kauffman
Stadium, home of the Kansas City Royals, contracted
Durrell Sports to replace their 25 year old point cluster
system. The new $2.5 million dollar totally distributed
system design incorporated QSC amplifiers with QSC-Control,
along with a mixture of Renkus-Heninz and EAW speakers.
Technical:
Of Special Note :
Durrell
added more processors and amplification to enhance the
coverage of the seating area and phase out the clusters.
By providing more uniform coverage and true sound over
the entire stadium, Durrell eliminated the delay and increased
the intelligilbility.
Durrell
was pleased to provide the installation and expand its
relationship with the Kansas City Sports Community
